Suspension of Drop Shipments Into SCF 775
Effective immediately all drop shipments into SCF 775 are suspended until further notice. This emergency action has been taken as a result of the mandatory evacuation of Galveston, Texas due to Hurricane Rita. Drop shipments destined for SCF 775 can be dropped at the North Houston Processing & Distribution Center located at 4600 Aldine Bender Rd., Houston, TX 77315. Further updates will be provided after we fully understand the effects of Hurricane Rita.
South Florida District
All South Florida District offices are operational.
At 8 a.m. ET, Hurricane Rita was moving west at 14 mph about 195 miles west of Key West, Fla., and has been upgraded to a Category 4 storm.
