Indiana eBay’ers choose USPS
Greater Indiana District has held six Post Office eBay Day Events — reaching 800 customers with information and training on how quick, easy and convenient it is do their eBay shipping with USPS.
At sign-in tables, the district eBay Day team had usps.com information, including a NetPost Services display and Click-N-Ship and Carrier Pickup Online Notification handouts. More than 400 customers left business cards or registered to get future information on buying, selling and shipping.
Live demonstrations every half-hour walked customers through registering, selling and shipping via Express Mail and Priority Mail on eBay. There also was an eBay information table. The beauty of the eBay partnership is that customers have access to all of our online services — usps.com, Click-N-Ship and other postal products — without ever leaving the eBay site.
“Your instructions and good advice gave me the confidence that I needed,” a Carmel, IN, customer wrote to the team after she made her first eBay sale.
With success under their belts, team members plan to hold several more eBay Days throughout Greater Indiana.
